WolfPack Women Start Conference Play Strong

Playing in their first conference game at Milwaukee Area Technical College on Wednesday night, the WolfPack women's basketball team showed just how good they are going to be in the North Central Community College Conference (N4C). Madison College picked up an 85-54 victory.

Kinsey Mace was once again the star of the night offensively. Mace finished with a team-high 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Two other members of the 'Pack poured in double-digits as well. Courtney Spangler tallied 16 points, while Tanya Kaufmann finished with 13. A huge part of the WolfPack's offensive success was their play on the other end of the floor. Madison College forced 33 MATC turnovers, leading to 37 points for the 'Pack. Madison turned the ball over just 15 times by comparison. The team also got great production from their bench, outscoring the Stormers subs 29-0. At one point the WolfPack was up as many as 37 points.

Madison College (9-5, 1-0) will play a second straight N4C road game on Saturday, January 14th. The WolfPack are set to visit Joliet Junior College, with a tip time of 1:00 PM.
