WolfPack head soccer coach Jeff Richardson has been preaching perseverance to his team this season, and it may be starting to pay off. After a 13-0 loss to Concordia University, and an 8-0 loss to College of Dupage, the team seems to be moving in the right direction. Going up against Waubonsee Community College, Madison gave up just three goals in their most recent matchup.
The improvement by the WolfPack couldn't come at a better time. Winless in conference play at 0-2, the WolfPack get back-to-back North Central Community College Conference (N4C) contests against Harper College and Triton College this coming week. The game against the Hawks will be on the road Wednesday, September 21st at 4:00 PM, while the WolfPack will host the Trojans Friday, September 23rd at 4:00 PM. Triton beat the WolfPack 8-1 at their place earlier this season.
