It was never close. The Madison College soccer team suffered their worst loss of the season Monday night, falling 13-0 against Concordia University JV. The win was the second against the WolfPack for the Falcons this season.
After allowing two goals in the opening ten minutes the 'Pack never had any real chance to get things going. By the halftime break Concordia had scored six times, including once on a penalty kick. Things got even worse for the WolfPack in the second half, as the Falcons put seven more balls into the back of the net. For the game, the 'Pack was outshot 35-8. Freshman goalkeeper
Michael Riley played the whole game for Madison, and though he gave up 13 goals he also made nine saves.
Madison (0-5) is still in search of their first win this season. However, things won't get any easier their next game. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14th, they host the unbeaten College of DuPage (7-0). The game is scheduled to get underway at 4:00 PM.
