WolfPack Women Struggle in Loss to Joliet

The Madison College women's basketball team struggled on the road against Joliet Junior College on Tuesday night.  The WolfPack fell 66-48 as the team shot under 30% from the field and committed 24 turnovers.

Madison College fell behind in the first half as they shot just 7-for-31 from the field and 6-15 from the line.  The WolfPack trailed 40-22 heading into half.  The team shot better in the second half but could not get any closer to the Lady Wolves as they led by as many as 24 points.

Mya Flentje led the WolfPack in scoring for the second time this season as she shot 4-for-9 from the field and knocked down two three pointers.  Flentje also dished out five assists and had three steals while playing all 40 minutes.  Fellow guard, Jamie Nolan, also reached double-figures with 11 points.

With the loss, the WolfPack dropped their second straight game to push their record to 11-12.  The Madison College women will play Western Technical College on Thursday in LaCrosse, WI.
