The Madison College women's basketball team got back into the win column with a 60-50 win over the visiting College of DuPage Chaparrals. The WolfPack were paced by 15 points from
Hannah Schwartzer and
Alicia Kopp.
Madison College jumped out to a 31-24 advantage at half and extended their lead to as many as 16 points in the second half. The WolfPack shot 10-for-11 from the free throw line for the game and outscored the the visiting Lady Chaparrals 20-12 in the paint.
Both
Hannah Schwartzer and
Alicia Kopp poured in 15 points to lead the WolfPack in scoring. Kopp pulled down 9 rebounds as did point guard
Mya Flentje. Second year guard,
Jamie Nolan, also added 12 points in the win.
The WolfPack snap a two game losing streak with the victory and improve to 7-6 in conference play. Madison College will face Milwaukee Area Technical College in their final game of the regular season on Saturday, February 19th in Milwaukee, WI.
