The Madison College soccer team's 2011 regular season ended the same way it began on Sunday, with a loss. Visiting Kishwaukee College in their regular season finale, the WolfPack didn't have enough bite, falling 3-0.
In the first half, Madison College gave up a quick goal. At 3:57, Anthony Parra put one past WolfPack goalie
Eric Liegel. It was the only goal in the first 45 minutes of play. Parra was not finished for the Kougars though.
Picking up where he left off in the first, Parra would find the back of the net once more just three minutes after the break, scoring at 48:19. Up 2-0, Kishwaukee would continue to attack. Alejandro Nava made it a three goal lead for the Kougars with his goal at 64:54. Liegel made 11 saves for the 'Pack on the day.
Madison College (1-15, 0-8) will now gear up for the postseason which begins Wednesday, October 19th at 2:00 PM. The WolfPack, whose opponent is yet to be determined, will have to play on the road in the NJCAA Region IV Tournament Quarterfinals.
