Coming off their best showing off the season, a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes that turned into a win by forfeit against Waubonsee, the Madison College soccer team played a strong game against Harper College on Wednesday. The WolfPack gave up just two goals to the Hawks, losing 2-0.

Madison College would keep Harper off the board for the first 32 minutes of the game, giving up just a single goal in the opening half as Patrick Norr beat Eric Liegel at 32:08.

The 'Pack would make it equally as tough on the Hawks in the second half, again giving up just a single goal. Harper's second strike of the match would come at 82:00, with Diego Caldera finding the back of the net. For the game Madison College tallied seven shots on goal, Harper finished with 13.

Madison College (1-15, 0-8) has just one game remaining prior to postseason play. The WolfPack will finish off their regular season with a game at Kishwaukee College Sunday, October 16th at 12:00 PM.
