The WolfPack claimed their sixth North Central Community College Conference (N4C) victory by beating Triton College, 65-55. The game was sloppy on both sides of the ball as both teams combined for 49 turnovers, but in the end, the WolfPack used a 21-11 advantage from the free throw line to put the game away.
Madison College led by nine points at halftime despite committing 14 first half turnovers and shooting just 34% from the field. In the second half, the WolfPack held on to their lead as
Alicia Kopp had her eighth double-double, scoring 18 points and pulling down 13 rebounds. First year post player,
Hannah Schwartzer scored 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field. Schwartzer also grabbed eight rebounds in 32 minutes of action.
Shelby Beth reached double-figures with 10 points.
The WolfPack improved to 11-10 overall and 6-2 in N4C conference play. Next up for the WolfPack is a February 1 matchup against conference opponent, Wilbur Wright College, in Chicago, IL
