The WolfPack Women's Basketball team allowed the Western Technical College Cavaliers just 16 first half points as they jumped out to a 26 point halftime lead. Madison College extended the lead in the second half to as many as 38 points cruising to a 74-43 win.
Despite turning the ball over 28 times the WolfPack were able to control the game throughout. Madison College outscored the Cavaliers 27-3 from beyond the arc and received 17 bench points as eight players reached the scoring column. Additionally, the WolfPack were 9-for-10 from the charity stripe.
Alicia Kopp continued her soild play scoring a season-high 24 points on 8-for-16 shooting, including two three pointers. Kopp just missed her seventh double-double of the season pulling down nine rebounds. Fellow second year player,
Shelby Beth scored 20 points, going 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and 4-for-4 from the free throw line.
Mya Flentje added nine points, four assists and five steals in almost 32 minutes of play.
The win moved the women's record to 8-10 overall before a Saturday matchup against College of DuPage in Glen Ellen, IL.
