Jody LaReau scored his second goal of the season for the WolfPack in a 4-1 loss to Joliet Junior College in Madison on Sept. 29. It was the fourth-straight loss for the WolfPack in their first of a four-game homestand.

LaReau's goal came 85 minutes into the game on a Mike Pane assist, his first of the season. The WolfPack had went three-straight games without scoring a goal before LaReau put one through the net on the Wolves' goalie.

The goal was scored while the WolfPack were trailing the Wolves 4-0. All of the damage performed by the Wolves' offense was done early in the first and second halves. They scored all four goals within the first 20 minutes of each half. Goalie Eric Liegel made seven saves while allowing the four goals to the Wolves during the ninety-minute game.

The WolfPack will look to use the late goal against the Wolves as a momentum builder while they prepare for their matchup with the Waubonsee Community College Chiefs on Oct. 2 in Madison at noon. The WolfPack are trying to snap a four-game losing streak that started one game after a 1-1 tie with the Chiefs in Sugar Grove, Ill. on Sept. 18.
