Division I Foe Too Much for WolfPack

Andrew Cook recorded his first assist of the season on a goal scored by Eric Salinas.
Madison College traveled to Glen Ellyn, Ill. to take on Division I and North Central Community College Conference (N4C) opponent - College of DuPage - on Sept. 15 and lost 10-1.

The WolfPack played and lost to a Division I opponent for the third time this season. In their first two matchups against Division I foes, the WolfPack hung tough, losing to McHenry County College and College of Lake County 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. Against DuPage, the WolfPack allowed a goal just 48 seconds into the game and were four goals behind the Chaparrals at halftime.

The WolfPack scored their lone goal of the game 85:08 into the game. Eric Salinas scored his second goal of the year against the Chaparrals on an assist from Andrew Cook.

The Chaparrals took 31 shots in the game, 17 of which were on goalie Eric Liegel. He made 7 saves while allowing 10 goals in the game.

The WolfPack play two non-conference games on Sept. 18 and 19 against Waubonsee Community College and Kankakee Community College.
