Eric Liegel made 10 saves in the loss to Joliet Junior College.
Madison College fell 2-0 on the road to Joliet Junior College and dropped their third North Central Community College (N4C) match of the season in the process. The WolfPack gave up an early goal just under three minutes into each half and never fully recovered.
At the 2:46 mark of the first half, Joliet scored the first goal of the game and captured a lead that they would not give up. The WolfPack defense kept the Wolves out of the net for the remainder of the first half. However, just 2:28 into the second half, the Wolves notched another goal and held the WolfPack scoreless for the game in the victory.
The WolfPack struggled to get shots off as they only took four, with just one being a shot on goal. While the Wolves' goalie only had to make one save,
Eric Liegel of the WolfPack had a busy day. He made 10 saves while allowing the two early goals, with one coming in each half.
The WolfPack play their third game of a four-game road trip in Glen Ellyn, Ill. on Sept. 15 against N4C foe and Division I opponent, College of DuPage.
