The #3 nationally ranked Madison College Women's Basketball team handed the #2 ranked and undefeated Brookdale CC their first loss of the year, 59-41.
Thresia Elskamp (Potosi, WI, Potosi ) led all scorers with 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds while teammate Gabi Hungerford (Wild Rose, WI, Wild Rose ) posted her second straight double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The WolfPack outrebounded the Jersey Blues 54-38 and shot 35% from the field.
With the win, the WolfPack advanced to their second straight national title game. Madison College will play #1 ranked Onondaga CC (Syracuse, NY) at 8:00 PM tomorrow night.
