The #3 nationally ranked Madison College WolfPack have advanced to the Region IV championship game with their convincing 85-52 victory over Joliet Junior College. The WolfPack jumped out to a 39-19 halftime lead and never looked back in Joliet, IL.

Gabi Hungerford (Wild Rose, WI, Wild Rose ) put in the most dominant performance that the WolfPack have seen all year. She scored a season-high 29 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the floor and recorded her second double-double of the year by grabbing 12 rebounds. She also dished out six assists, blocked three shots and had three steals.

Second-year player Alyssa Bowe (Barneveld, WI, Barneveld ) came off the bench and scored 13 of the WolfPack's 27 bench points. First-year players Thresia Elskamp (Potosi, WI, Potosi ) and Alicia Kopp (Evansville, WI, Evansville) added 12 points and 10 points respectively.

The WolfPack will meet the Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers in the Region IV championship on Feb. 25 at 5:00 PM in Joliet, IL. The Stormers squeaked by College of DuPage 55-52 in their semifinal game. Both the WolfPack and the Stormers have reached the championship in just their first season in Region IV. The WolfPack won both meetings against the Stormers this season.
