The #3 nationally ranked Madison College women's basketball team found itself in unfamiliar territory at halftime trailing the host Harper College Hawks by two points, 30-28. The Hawks with just five players pushed the host WolfPack to the final minute of the game. Madison College found a way down the stretch as Alicia Kopp (Evansville, WI, Evansville) scored some key baskets to help the WolfPack earn their seventh straight victory.
Kendra Mussehl (New Glarus, WI, New Glarus ) and Kopp each reached double-figures with 13 and 11 points respectively. Mussehl also dished out a game-high six assists. Madison College improved to 25-3 overall and 12-1 in N4C conference play.
