Corey Yahnke's 24 point and 11 rebound double-double helped the host WolfPack get back in the win column against the visiting UW-Marathon County Huskies. In addtion to Yahnke's performance, fellow center,
Garrett Borgrud, got into the act as well pitching in with 21 points and nine rebounds in Madison College's 92-75 win.
In the first half, Madison College jumped out to a 22 point halftime advantage as the team shot 50% from the field and made 8-of-9 free throws. The WolfPack continued to dominate the paint in the second half stretching the lead to 24 points. Madison College outscored the visiting Huskies 48-20 in the paint and forced 22 turnovers to earn their third win of the season and improve to 3-4.
Aaron Jones and
Jordan Van Cleave also reached the double-digit category in points, each scoring 10.
The WolfPack Men will be in action on Tuesday, December 7 when they face Kishwaukee Community College in Malta, IL.
