After a scorless first half in Madison, the Stormers put up two early second half goals to take down the WolfPack on Oct. 8. Both goals came within the first five minutes of the half, with one goal coming on a penalty kick.
The WolfPack outshot the Stormers 15-11 (7-6 on goal) in the game, but were unable to get any shots past the Stormers' goalie.
Eric Liegel, the WolfPack goalie, saved four shots in the game.
Fouls plagued the WolfPack, who racked up 24 in the match, compared to just 11 for the Stormers. It was the second defeat that came at the hands of the Stormers this season for the WolfPack who lost 4-1 in Milwaukee on Sept. 8.
