The #1 nationally ranked Madison College Women's Basketball team survived a second half rally by the visiting Milwaukee Area Technical College Stormers to claim their first North Central Community College Conference (N4C) victory.
The WolfPack trailed late into the second half but made some plays down the stretch to get the win. Former Potosi H.S. standouts, Morgan Lass (Potosi, WI, Potosi) and Thresia Elskamp (Potosi, WI, Potosi ) led the way for the WolfPack pouring in 22 points and 11 points, respectively. First year guard Shelby Beth (Reedsburg, WI, Reedsburg) added 11 points while post player Alicia Kopp (Evansville, WI, Evansville) contributed nine points. The WolfPack improved to 12-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
