After a close victory in their conference opener against Milwaukee Area Technical College, the #1 ranked Madison College women's basketball team flexed their muscles in the 81-29 victory over Triton College in River Grove, IL.
On Jan. 9, the WolfPack put in their most dominant performance of the season, winning by 52 points on the road. The WolfPack led 41-12 at halftime and never looked back in the victory. The Trojans were held scoreless from beyond the arc and the WolfPack defense limited the Trojans to making just 9-of-53 shot attempts.
Madison College got a season-high 20 points from former Reedsburg player, Shelby Beth (Reedsburg, WI, Reedsburg). She hit 4-of-7 from 3-point land and 8 of 12 shots overall. Second-year player Gabi Hungerford (Wild Rose, WI, Wild Rose ) had a productive day scoring 12 points, grabbing nine rebounds and blocking three shots.
The WolfPack (14-2) look to stay perfect at home as they play host to Wilbur Wright College at 5:30 pm in the Douglas H. Redsten Gymnasium.
