The WolfPack stayed hot as they evened the season series against Harper College by winning 5-1 on Sept. 25 in Madison. Madison College has not lost in their last five games, totaling four wins and a tie over that stretch.
Yainier Diaz (Oregon, WI, Coral Gables) and Thiemoko Kone (Dakar,SN, Senegal) combined to score all five goals for Madison College. Diaz scored two while Kone added three, with one goal coming off a penalty kick. Kone assisted the two goals scored by Diaz.
Goalie Matt Hovey (Monona, WI, Monona Grove ) recorded five saves and allowed one goal. The combination ofMichael Boerboom (Madison, WI, Madison Memorial) and Hovey has not allowed more than one goal in each of the last five games.
