The Madison College women's basketball team won for the second time in two days as they traveled to Ironwood, MI in the upper peninsula on Dec. 5. The WolfPack defeated the Lady Samsons of Gogebic College 75-43.
The WolfPack outscored the Lady Samsons 24-8 on points off turnovers and limited the Lady Samsons to just 15-41 shooting from the field. The WolfPack bench also played a huge role in the victory by scoring a season-high 51 points.
First-year guard, Jamie Nolan (Oakfield, WI, Oakfield) led the WolfPack with 10 points on 4-5 shooting, including hitting both of her 3-point attempts. First-year post player Alicia Kopp (Evansville, WI, Evansville) scored four points and led the team with seven rebounds.
