Cory Sims

Cory Sims is entering his fifth season as head coach with the Madison College WolfPack men's soccer team. In four seasons as head coach, the WolfPack have compiled a 32-26-6 (.546) record, improving their season win total every year. Sims led the 2016 squad to the programs first ever North Central Community College Conference championship with a 8-1-1 league record, part of a 14-2-2 record that had Madison College in the NJCAA Division III Poll for a brief moment. In the fall of 2012 he served as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Madison College.

In addition to leading the WolfPack, Sims coaches the U16 boy's soccer team in Verona, WI. Prior to that, he led U10-13 Boys at the Magic Soccer Club in Madison, while leading the U19 team for the Magic starting in 2013. Sims, a USSF 'C' Licensee, has also coached and trained various players and teams from ages 8-18.

Sims believes in "working on improvement every training session." A University of Wisconsin graduate who just earned his Master's Degree at Southern Utah University, Sims says, "The wider the base, the higher the pyramid. With a solid foundation and smart work, any goal is achievable."

Outside of coaching, Sims is a strength coach and personal trainer. Born in Chicago, Sims was a two-year letter winner for Lincoln Park High School, where he earned the role of captain during his senior season. Sims wife, Cari, is an assistant coach for the Madison College women's soccer team. The couple resides in Madison.
