Cory is entering his first season as Head Coach with the Madison College WolfPack soccer team. Born in Chicago, Sims was a two-year letter winner for Lincoln Park High School where he earned the role of Captain during his Senior season.
For the past three years, he has been a coach for the U10-13 Boys at Magic Soccer Club in Madison. In the Fall of 2012 he served as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach at Madison College. In addition to those duties, Coach Sims, a USSF 'C' Licensee, has coached and trained various players and teams from ages 8-18.
Cory believes in "Working on improvement every training session." A University of Wisconsin graduate, Coach Sims says, "The wider the base, the higher the pyramid. With a solid foundation and smart work, any goal is achievable."
Outside of coaching, Cory is a strength coach and personal trainer. He currently resides in Madison.
