Ty Hamilton is entering his first season as an assistant coach for the Madison College baseball team after being hire in June 2025.
Ty began his coaching career helping the Sun Prairie West High School baseball team as an assistant coach during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In between, he served as a varsity football assistant coach at Sun Prairie East High School.Â
Ty was a standout baseball and football athlete at Sun Prairie HS, helping the baseball program to back-to-back WIAA Division 1 State Baseball Tournament appearances and one runner-up finish, as well as a state runner-up trophy in football. The two-time all-conference catcher continued his baseball career at NCAA Division III UW-La Crosse, where he earned WIAC All-Conference honors and helped the Eagles to a 2023 NCAA Division III World Series appearance. He graduated with a degree in Marketing.
Ty currently lives in Sun Prairie and has spent the past two years working as an account specialist at Fastenal.
