Maddie Kvatek is entering her first season as an assistant coach for Madison College softball after being hired in July 2026. She returns to the WolfPack where she played for two seasons from 2021-2022.
At Madison College, Kvatek was a NJCAA Third Team All-American and a two-time all-region and all-conference catcher and outfielder. She holds the program-record for batting average in a season after hitting .549 as a freshman, and ranks second for career average at .477. Kvatek continues to rank among the program's best for career triples (2nd/13), hits (5th/115), runs batted in (5th/81), runs (T-6th/78), home runs (7th/7), doubles (9th/22), and stolen bases (13th/24).
Kvatek helped Madison College win the Region 4 championship and reach the NJCAA Division II Softball Championship in 2021 as they finished 39-9.
After Madison College, Kvatek transferred to NAIA Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, to play three more seasons for the Raiders. She earned Second Team All-GPAC as an outfielder in 2025. She ranks tied for sixth in career fielding percentage at .987. Kvatek helped the Raiders win two GPAC championships and qualify for the NAIA Tournament all three years. She graduated with a degree in Biology-Health Professionals.
As a prep, Kvatek was a two-time letter winner at Stevens Point Area Senior High.
