Terry Ruchti is no stranger to the Wisconsin softball scene. Prior to joining Madison College as a first year coach in 2014, he had already coached with four different organizations. Most notably, he was an assistant coach for Barneveld High School from 2008-2011.
While with Barneveld, Ruchti helped the Eagles to a Six Rivers Conference championship in 2008, along with a regional championship in 2009.
During his playing days, Terry attended Lancaster High School, where he was a four-sport athlete. He also was an all-conference performer in baseball.
Outside of coaching, Ruchti likes to go hunting and fishing. He has been married to his wife Laurie for 27 years and has two children, 21-year-old daughter Taylor and 18-year-old son Randy.
