Megan Hanke

Megan Hanke will be joining the DII Madison College softball team as a first year assistant coach under Head Coach Leo Kalinowski. Hanke is familiar with Madison College and coach Kalinowski, having played under him for two seasons in 2013 and 2014.
 
Hanke possesses one year of coaching experience as the head coach in the Antigo, WI Babe Ruth League, but brings a wealth of knowledge after a stellar playing career both at Antigo High School and Madison College. In her first year for the WolfPack, Hanke was named a top scholar athlete and in her second year was named first team all-conference (N4C) and team MVP. In that year she led the team with a .388 batting average (47 for 121), a .537 slugging percentage on 12 extra base hits, and a .429 on base percentage.
 
The Antigo, WI native and current Sun Prairie resident holds several spots in the Madison College softball records books. Hanke is sixth in career batting average (.381 mark), fourth in season hits (47), second in career hits (83), fifth in season home runs (2), fourth in career home runs (3), eighth in season triples (2), fourth in career triples (3), fifth in season doubles (8), second in career doubles (12),third and fifth in season RBI (32) and (26), first in career RBI (58), seventh in season runs scored (30), and second in career runs scored (47).
