Adams is in her first season as a student assistant softball coach under head coach Jessica Pelzel. Adams played two seasons for the WolfPack during the 2007 and 2008 season. During her sophomore season in 2008, Adams started all of the the teams' 25 games and finished 17-for-75 for a .227 batting average. She recorded a .318 on base percentage, scored 16 runs, and was a perfect 8 for 8 in steals. In 2007, her first with the WolfPack, Adams played in 18 games, hit .218, had 5 RBI, and scored 10 runs. 10 of her 12 hits were singles.

Adams was a three-sport athlete (softball, gymnastics, volleyball) for Baraboo High School where she received most improved player in her junior year in softball. She was also selected first team all-conference her senior season. Pat Reiger was her high school softball coach. She is a Dental Hygiene major, was born April 19, 1988, and is the daughter of Jack and Kim Adams.
