"We are very happy have coach Schneeberger join us as the new head softball coach at MATC. Del brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table and has exhibited a tremendous passion for the game of softball throughout his life. We are confident that Del will be a positive and respected leader for our intercollegiate softball program," says Director of Athletics, Steve Hauser.

"I am very excited about the opportunity of being the head softball coach at MATC. It has long been a goal of mine to coach at the collegiate level and MATC is the perfect fit," commented coach Schneeberger. "I am looking forward to getting the word out to coaches, student-athletes and their parents about the wonderful educational and intercollegiate softball opportunities available at MATC. I look forward to working with the student-athletes and in helping them grow and experience success on and off the field."

Schneeberger will be assisted by Kate Zelhofer during the 2008 campaign.
