Lyon Chen is entering his second season as an assistant coach for Madison College Esports after being hired in July 2023. Chen joins the coaching staff after competing for the WolfPack for three semesters over the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Chen has helped out periodically over the past two seasons with the WolfPack, during which Madison College boasts a national runner-up and a national semifinalist in SSBU.Â
Prior to Madison College, Chen wrestled at Cambridge High School.
In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, learning Korean, cooking, and all things SSBU. Chen continues to work towards a Communications degree. He currently resides in Cambridge, Wisconsin.
