Madison College Athletics

Daniel K. Gronli was co-captain of the men's basketball team in 1965. His statistics as a playmaking point guard were extremely significant in the success of the team. He was the first recipient of the most prestigious award presented at MATC, that being the Board Sportsperson of the Year Award in 1969. He was a seventh grade teacher and basketball coach at Mt. Horeb High School.
