The #-seeded WolfPack was unable to rally from an early  #7-seeded Tritons 10-0 deficit as they fell to the #7-seeded Tritons for the second straight year in a quarterfinal elimination game, resulting in the program's third consecutive fifth place finish and fifth in the last eight years.
