A six-member incoming class will help make up the first official roster for new Madison College volleyball head coach Jeff Thomas, who officially announced the signing class on Friday. The group is made up of
Isabella Carrillo (Hartford, WI),
Tabitha Harrington (Adams, WI),
Kacee Kruczek (Green Bay, WI), Madisyn Robinson (Stoughton, WI),
Tianna Sackett (West Salem, WI), and
Caitlin West (Evansville, WI).
Isabella Carrillo, a 5'6" hitter, played four years of volleyball and three years of basketball at Maranatha Baptist Academy in Watertown, Wisconsin. She earned honorable mention all-state and all-tournament accolades from the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools (WACS) as a senior, while also picking up all-state honors in basketball following her junior season. Carrillo hopes to enter the Madison College Veterinary Technician program.
"Isabella is a versatile athlete capable of playing middle or outside attacker. Her athleticism allows her to find the open spots on the floor."
Tabitha Harrington, a 5'10" outside hitter, earned three varsity letters in volleyball at Adams-Friendship HS, while also collecting seven more varsity letters in softball and bowling. She earned all-conference honors as a senior and won a pair of conference championships in softball. Harrington plans to enter the Veterinary Technician program at Madison College.
"An all-conference player in high school, Tabitha is a student of the game and strives to improve every day. I look forward to her continued grown at Madison College."
Kacee Kruczek, a 5'1" defensive specialist/libero, was a four-year letter winner in volleyball at Denmark HS, while also participating in basketball and softball. As a senior, she collected 282 digs and posted 30 aces with a .950 serve percentage. Kruczek will study Business Management at Madison College.Â
"Kacee is a quick defender who reads the attack well. It will be exciting to see her progress over the next couple of years."
Madisyn Robinson, a 5'5" defensive specialist/libero, helped the Stoughton Vikings to a 22-5 record as a senior in 2016. A three-sport athlete (soccer, softball), Robinson was a team captain, team MVP, and first team all-conference player on the softball diamond. She intends to study Psychology at Madison College.
"Madisyn is a defensive specialist with an ability to read attackers and a quickness that prevents opposing teams from find the floor. She hustles for everything."
Tianna Sackett, 5'6" middle blocker, guided West Salem HS to a Coulee Conference championship in 2016 and earned first team all-conference accolades after picking up second team honors the year before. She spent the 2017-18 season playing soccer and basketball at Madison College, which included helping the WolfPack women's soccer team to the program's first appearance at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament. Sackett is currently majoring in Social Work.
"Tianna is a three-sport standout athlete at Madison College, playing soccer, basketball, and now volleyball. She was a first team all-conference middle blocker in high school. Her speed and athleticism will be a great addition in the front row."
Caitlin West, a 5'8" setter, earned two varsity letters in volleyball at Evansville HS. A team captain as a senior, she helped the Blue Devils to a 12-11 record. West intends to enroll in the Paramedic and Firefighting programs at Madison College.
"Caitlin has spent her career as a setter, developing good court awareness and the ability to place the ball well for her attackers. She strives to improve every day, and works extremely hard on the court and in the classroom."
