Meet the 2017 Women’s Soccer National Tournament Field

The #5 seed Madison College WolfPack know their opponent in their NJCAA Division III National Championship opener on Thursday, but future opponents won't be determined until the tournament is underway. In that case, here is a look at the WolfPack's first round opponent, Delta Community College (MI), and the six other teams that will join Madison College in the eight-team tournament.

Heading into the first round of games on Thursday, November 9; the eight-team field will be bringing limited experience to Dryden, NY. Only one school (Erie) is making a return trip to the National Tournament after finishing in second place last season, one team (Montgomery) has won a National Tournament, and three teams (Brookhaven, Delta, Madison) have never made it to the National Tournament. In addition to the wealth of newcomers, three of the teams in the National Tournament finished the season unranked by the NJCAA (Madison, Montgomery, Nassau).

Each possible opponent is updated with their seed at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament, their current rank in the latest NJCAA poll, how they earned their respective berths to the national tournament, and key contributors on the team. Refer to this guide throughout the NJCAA Division III National Tournament for a quick scouting report of future opponents.
