Gary "Big Dog" Breneman will enjoy a well-deserved night in the spotlight August 4 at The Duck Pond in Madison's Warner Park. The Madison Mallards are hosting "Madison College 'Big Dog' Night at The Duck Pond" in honor of the longtime manager for Madison College baseball and basketball, as well as for the Mallards since their creation in 2001.

As part of the festitivies, the first 5,000 fans will receive a Gary "Big Dog" Breneman bobblehead. Plus, the Madison College Hall of Famer will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before the Mallards take on the Kenosha Kingfish at 7:05 p.m.

All Madison College fans are encouraged to wear WolfPack gear to be part of Big Dog's Fan Club for the night!

The event caps a big year for Breneman, who was given the Favorite Son Award by the Madison Dugout Club at its 35^th Annual Winter Baseball Banquet back in February.
